Larsen has E&P experience from more than 30 countries. He has held several senior management positions in Statoil including Chief Geologist, SVP Exploration Norwegian Continental Shelf, VP Field Development and Asset Support Europe, Russia, Middle East, North Africa, SVP Country Analysis and Social Responsibility, SVP International Development&Production. Larsen was a member of Statoil’s Executive Committee 1998-2000. Leaving Statoil, he has held several board positions including for Pure Exploration. He is now Chairman Elect for Karpinsky Oil&Gas AS and Westwood Global Energy Group’s representative in Norway.
