Jøssang's experience lies within finance, procurement, asset management, asset development, trading and technical/commercial reviews in relation to decision gates. He has more than 40 years of industry experience from Norway and Western Europe, the Middle East and Canada.

Prior to joining APC in 2017 Jøssang served as VP Investment Arena at Statoil (2010-17), where he had the responsibility for all independent technical and commercial quality reviews of investment proposals given to Statoil's Central Executive Committee. Other roles at Statoil include the position as Senior Vice President and Country President Statoil Canada (2007-10), Senior Vice President Middle East Region (2004-07), Managing Director Statoil UK Ltd. (1998-01) and Vice President International Products Trading and Supply (1995-98).
