Røising has extensive international oil industry, energy banking and consulting experience. Røising’s experience lies within business growth and development, acquisitions and divestments, deal origination, negotiations, relationship building and sales/marketing as well as governmental and partnering relations. Røising has operational and technical experience from Norway as well as China, Malaysia, the Netherlands and USA.

Between 2002 and 2015 Røising had various executive positions at Shell in the areas of business development, commercial and sales, including the role as Commercial Manager Long Term Gas Contracts at A/S Norske Shell, Business Development Manager at A/S Norske Shell and Business Development Manager Asia Pacific, E&P Services at Shell Global Solutions, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Other positions include the position as Management Consultant at Gemini Consulting, Oslo (1999-2002); General Manager at Scana Industry, Chengdu, China (1998-99); various positions at Christiania Bank og Kreditkasse (now Nordea), Oslo and New York (1989-98) including the position as SVP Capital Market Clients (1997-98) and First Vice President, Energy & Natural Resources (1997).
